Introduction to GSM
We provide an introductory course on GSM technology, following its stages of development up to becoming the world’s digital cellular standard.
Introduction to GSM Roaming
This provides a comprehensive course for operators trying to establish or expand their roaming activities. Roaming management training includes all major aspects of GSM roaming and will assist you in maximising your roaming potential through proper planning, efficient implementation, sound understanding of roaming documentation and expert roaming management.
Introduction to GPRS
This course focuses on GPRS service that is supported by GSM technology. This includes information on GPRS architecture, configuration and set up, mobility management, protocols and interfaces, GPRS roaming and basic troubleshooting.
Introduction to CAMEL
This course of study will focus on CAMEL service that can be supported by GSM technology. The course contains an Intelligent Network overview, Intelligent Network elements and protocols, Intelligent Network services and CAMEL review and phases.
Introduction to IREG
A comprehensive course that covers the signalling issues involved with roaming. The course includes an introduction to IREG, SS7 concept, GSM basic functionality, IREG preparation testing, roaming support and messaging and SS7 call flows.
Introduction to TADIG
This course focuses on TADIG testing. The content includes, introduction to TAP, TADIG testing process, TAP Testing Tool Kit review and TADIG testing practice.
SS7 Training
This is a detailed course which studies the SS7 signalling system that is used in GSM technology. Contents of the course includes, SS7 network architecture, SS7 protocol stack, SS7 signal units and network structures, signalling links, SS7 protocols, Message Transfer Part Level 1-3, SCCP TCAP and ISUP, SS7 in mobile networks, MAP CAMEL and CAP, SS7 in NGN’s, SS7 and VoIP and SS7 enabling products.
All these courses are designed to benefit departments involved with roaming either directly or indirectly (roaming management, roaming administration, network operations, billing and provisioning, and fraud departments).
